First off, I want to thank everyone for their continued support of JackRebel.com.  This site is nothing more than a hobby that got a bit out of control… and now seems to be a first-stop destination for design enthusiasts.

Here are a few announcements we would like to make:

1. We have recently become affiliates for the sites PSD Tuts & Vector Tuts.  These two websites provide unparalleled design resources and offer pro memberships for readers that want access to source files, bonus tutorials, and more downloads.  I personally can highly recommend them for any designer who needs a little extra help grasping new concepts and techniques.  For only $9 you get access to priceless resources.  The membership is month to month and you can cancel at any time.  They accept PayPal too, so it should be pretty easy to sign-up for all the younger designers as well.  Check them out by clicking on one of our large square banners in the top-right part of our website.  They are set to rotate between the Vector Tuts and PSD Tuts banners each time the pages load, so hit refresh if you don’t see the one you want.

2. We recently added a Twitter function to our sidebar.  If you aren’t already following us on Twitter, please click here and follow us!  Jack likes to post random crap about his workouts and the junk-food he eats on the weekend…including the occasional drunk tweet, so make sure to follow him.  We also have a contest planned for our Twitter followers but we will post more about that next month.

3. To get some revenue trickling into our website, we decided to decrease the price for our 125 x 125px ads (located under the Twitter section).  The old price was only $50 per month, but now we are only charging $10 per month.  Obviously, we want to see some advertisers fill these spots, but more importantly, we are looking to form long-term relationships with advertisers that we think would be a good fit with you guys.  If anyone knows anyone that might be interested, please send them our way!  To sign up for the spots, just click on the gray boxes or go here.

4. Jack and I want to know what else you would like to see on our site!  Do you want more iPhone wallpapers?  Do you want more HD Wallpapers?  If you had to pick some category of content you want more of, which would it be?  Leave a comment below and tell us!  We read and usually respond to every comment.

Other Updates

Besides buying a ridiculously over powered new server, we also changed our post headers to a custom sIFR font to make things more beautiful.  I am sure there will be some compatibility issues for some people, so please let us know if you are having any trouble reading the headers on our website.
