Over the past few days, you all probably noticed the downtime and slow response of our site. I think I have finally solved those problems after purchasing a new server. The old server was just not cutting it anymore.

Reliability should now be restored to this site. Please let me know in the comments if you are still experiencing any problems or a super-slow website.

I am aware that many of you are getting errors when trying to access JackRebel.com – if the site even loads.

I have contracted with a large server management firm to look into this issue, and they have advised me to upgrade the hardware on the server. Instead of just “upgrading”… I have decided to buy an entirely new dedicated server.

Keep coming back, as I will be switching the site over the the totally brand spanking new server during the next 48 hours.

Don’t worry, we aren’t going anywhere. This is just a result of growth that we had not foreseen coming and are working on new ways to improve this site.

Over the past 12 hours we have been battling a server issue, but I have managed to get it under control.

You should not be experiencing any further downtime – hopefully forever!

Jack and I have been talking a lot lately about how we can increase reader interaction, comments, and participation. Many of our ideas are good, but nothing too out of the ordinary. So, if you all could comment below and tell us what you think will help make JackRebel.com a better place – We want to know!

Our site makes very little money, which is fine, because that’s not what we are here for. However, we do have some small costs that we need to cover. If you can all think of a way that we can increase our revenues without alienating our readers, we want to hear your ideas on that too.
